industrial, transportation and infrastructure markets.
Originally founded in San Diego California, since 1995, GCI

Gordon
Composites produces and markets Struct-Tuff® composite products
for infrastructure applications. These products are produced
with an epoxy matrix combined with either carbon or glass fiber
reinforcements. Struct-Tuff® composite materials are typically
unidirectional (0°axis), but are also available bi-directionally
in the 90° direction with glass reinforcements on some products.
Material surfaces are prepared for bonding on either one side or
both sides depending on application. Products can be bonded with
epoxy or a variety of other adhesives. Struct-Tuff® is
available in product forms such as plate, strip, sheet or roll
depending on thickness. Typical laminate sheet and roll stock
thickness ranges from .020"(.5mm) to .080" (2mm). Thicker plate
stock is available in strip only, ranging from .125"(3mm) to
.500"(12.7mm) in thickness.
